Early Life #

Helena was not born to the grit of the streets. She was raised amidst the finer things, a child of a well-off family who possessed wealth without the burden of arrogance. She enjoyed a privileged upbringing, accustomed to comfort but never feeling the need to boast of her station. Her chaotic, go-with-the-flow demeanor masks a childhood of quiet luxury.

The Tragedy of the Mire #

Her comfortable life was shattered by a tragedy as bizarre as it was devastating. Her parents and her beloved horse, Buttercup, stumbled into a treacherous, hidden sinkhole of quicksand, vanishing in mere moments.

  • Lingering Trauma: To this day, the trauma deeply affects her. Present Helena with the most terrifying of beasts and she will not blink, but force her to traverse unstable, uneven ground, and her nerves will noticeably fray as the memory of the mire threatens to pull her under once more.

Blood and Bonds #

Left with an inheritance but no immediate family, Helena found an anchor in her remaining bloodline.

  • Nitro: Helena’s cousin. The two remain quite close, and she is fiercely protective of her.

  • Questionable Associates: Despite her love for her cousin, Helena casts a wary, distrustful eye upon the specific friends and crowds Nitro chooses to run with.

Forging the Smash Sisters #

Seeking an outlet for her grief and an avenue for her chaotic energy, Helena turned to the local dojos and training rings of Orcania. It was upon those sweat-stained mats of the 3D Grapplers Union Hall that she found her true calling.
