Neega Ribalde

Overview #

Neega Ribalde was a courier and low-level operative for the The Glass Spiders in Caliphas. Her addiction to the drug “Grit” made her a pliable tool for her employers, ultimately leading to her tragic demise.

Personality & Afflictions #

Though she maintained a Helpful attitude toward those she worked with, Neega’s life was defined by her demons. She was a follower of Zon-Kuthon, the god of pain and darkness, believing in the sanctity of suffering and bodily mutilation.

However, her true master was a chemical one. Neega suffered from a severe addiction to Grit, a substance she worked desperately to procure. She served Vesper and the Glass Spiders primarily to feed this habit, making her vulnerable to manipulation.

Fate #

Neega was the intended recipient of the Voice of Sarenrae, which Al was sent to deliver. However, when the party arrived at her room (Room 263) in The Iron Lung, they found her murdered, lying in a pool of blood.

Her death served as the catalyst for a frame-up against the party. In a desperate bid to hide evidence and escape the arriving guards, her body was incinerated by Al during the group’s escape from the inn.
