Overview #
Lucinda Glaze is a multi-faceted figure in Caliphas as: a celebrated socialite, a talented Harrower, and the proprietor of Ravenous, a popular high-end bakery. Known for her impeccable fashion and melodic voice, she drifts between her shop and the high-society salons of Laurelight Hill, charming the city’s elite with her “faux worldliness” and eccentric personality.
Appearance & Mannerisms #
- Fashion: Lucinda dresses in the height of Karcau opera fashion, favoring heavy silks, long gloves, and ornate veils that obscure her features.
- Physical Traits: Beneath her veil, her skin has a strange, polished quality, resembling fired porcelain or a glaze. She wears a gold necklace featuring a Single Crow Charm.
- Behavior: She is excessively polite, often distracting conversation partners with strings of obscure trivia or sudden bursts of song in strange tongues.
Occupation #
- Ravenous: Lucinda owns and operates Ravenous, a chic bakery known for pastries as sweet and refined as her public persona. The shop is a favorite among the nobility, despite—or perhaps because of—its slightly ominous name.
- Harrower: She is a skilled fortune teller, often sought after by those wishing to peer into the mists of the future.
Campaign History #
- The Harrowing: During the festivities at the Vodavani Lodge, Lucinda provided a Harrow reading for the party members Rhea and Helena. The cards drawn were The Tanglebriar, The Survivor, and The Vision, which she interpreted as foretelling ancient deeds and a murdered soul that would exert a dark influence over their future.
- The Gift: Sensing danger ahead for the group, she gifted Rhea a magical ring known as Lucinda’s Ring to help the party maintain communication.
